Mount Waverley Medical Centre is a fully AGPAL accredited, independently owned and run general practice. We provide medical care to the local communities of Monash city council area and surrounding suburbs. Our medical centre is modern and hygienic. We are conveniently located at Mount Waverley shopping/business precinct , corner of Stephensons Rd and Waimaire Dr, opposite of IGA store. There are ample free parking directly in front of clinic. Train station and Bus stop 623, 733 are only a short walking distance away.

Our team provide a range of services including women’s and men’s health, mental health and counselling, immunisation, pediatric and geriatric care. We also offer minor surgical procedures such as skin cancer check, skin lesion excision, ingrown toenail removal, wound care, contraceptive implant insertion and removal. Anti-wrinkle injection and acupuncture are also provided.

Saturday morning billing policy changes from 1/7/2022

We regrettably to inform our patients, from 1/7/2022, all visits on Saturday morning will not be Bulk-billed, including: general consultations, adult/childhood vaccinations, prescriptions, injections, etc.. The visit will be privately charged, short consultation will be $85.00, longer consultations will be $125.00, Medicare rebate can be claimed in our clinic. However, general consultations are still be Bulk billed on weekdays , we still aim to provide high quality medical care at low cost to our patients.

Saturday morning bulk billing policy for NEW patients changes from 1/06/2022

Please kindly note that starting from 01/06/2022, for new patients, bulk-bill won’t be applicable for standard consultations on Saturday morning visits. That means an out of pocket fee will apply for those visits.
Existing patient will still be bulk billed for general consultations. However, mental Heath care plan or EPC won’t be bulk billed on Saturday morning for either new or existing patients

Novavax vaccine (Nuvaxovid) available from 21/02/2022

Novavax vaccine (Nuvaxovid) is arriving in our clinic from 21/02/2022. People aged over 18 can make an appointment with our clinic to receive the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine for their primary course, two doses are required at least 3 weeks apart.

Please note Novavax is not approved for the Booster.

Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine available from 5 July 2021

We are proud to become one of a few general practices to provide Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to general public, starting from age between 40-59 years old, Medicare card holders only, limited supply.
